TN: Hive Fleet Purple 2

Games Workshop 20-392 Hive Fleet Purple 2, Warhammer Tone Pro

Hive Fleet Purple 2 is an acrylic paint from Games Workshop's Warhammer Tone Pro range, developed for painting Warhammer miniatures. It belongs to the Hive Fleet Purple colour family, with five different tones designed to work together and provide an easy progression from shadows to highlights.

Hive Fleet Purple 2 is the darker tone, Tone 2 of 5, making it particularly suitable for the transition from shadow to base colour. The deep purple shade works well for chitin, skin and fabrics where you want to build depth and contrast.

Warhammer Tone Pro consists of 30 colour families with five tones in each, from Tone 1 as the darkest to Tone 5 as the lightest. The paints are designed for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing. The paint can also be mixed with Shading Medium to create a shade or glaze and with Blending Medium to extend drying time for blending. The paint comes in a 12ml pot.
