Magnus the Red 4 is an acrylic paint from Games Workshops Warhammer Tone Pro range, developed for painting Warhammer miniatures. It belongs to the Magnus the Red colour family, with five matching tones designed to create a consistent progression from shadows to highlights.

Magnus the Red 4 is Tone 4 of 5, making it a lighter shade that is particularly useful for the first stage of highlighting darker burgundy areas. It works well for armour, fabrics and details where you want to add depth and stronger contrast.

The Tone Pro system makes it easy to select complementary shades by following the tone numbers within the same colour family. The paint can be used for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing, and comes in a 12ml pot.
