TN: Hawkshroud Yellow 2

Games Workshop 20-192 Hawkshroud Yellow 2, Warhammer Tone Pro

Warhammer Tone Pro is an acrylic paint range from Games Workshop, designed for painting Warhammer miniatures and other models. Hawkshroud Yellow belongs to the yellow colour family, which contains five coordinated tones. Together, they make it easy to create smooth colour transitions and build depth from darker areas to brighter highlights.

Hawkshroud Yellow 2 is Tone 2 of 5 – a darker transition tone in the colour family. It is ideal for shaded areas, darker details and transitions between shadows and the base colour on yellow armour, vehicles and heraldic symbols. Combine it with Tone 1 for deeper shadows, then use Tones 3, 4 and 5 to gradually build brighter surfaces and highlights.

Warhammer Tone Pro includes 30 colour families, each with five tones ranging from Tone 1, the darkest, to Tone 5, the lightest. The paints can be used for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing. Mix with Shading Medium to create a shade or glaze, or use Blending Medium to extend drying time when blending colours. Supplied in a 12 ml pot.
