Plague Toad Venom 3 is an acrylic paint from Games Workshop’s Warhammer Tone Pro range, designed for painting Warhammer miniatures. It belongs to the green Plague Toad Venom colour family, where five coordinated tones make it easy to create depth and smooth transitions from shadows to highlights.

This is Tone 3 of 5, a midtone ideal for use as a base colour and for creating smooth transitions between darker shadows and lighter areas. Apply it to larger surfaces to establish the main colour, then combine it with the darker and lighter tones in the same colour family to define details and add depth to your miniatures.

Warhammer Tone Pro includes 30 colour families, each with five tones ranging from Tone 1, the darkest, to Tone 5, the lightest. The paints can be used for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing. Mix with Shading Medium to create shades or glazes, or use Blending Medium to extend drying time and achieve smoother colour transitions. Supplied in a 12 ml pot.
