TN: Megaboss Yellow 1

Games Workshop 20-201 Megaboss Yellow 1, Warhammer Tone Pro

Megaboss Yellow 1 is an acrylic paint from Games Workshop’s Warhammer Tone Pro range, designed for painting Warhammer miniatures. It belongs to the yellow Megaboss Yellow colour family, where five coordinated tones make it easy to create colour depth and smooth transitions from dark shadows to bright highlights. Its warm, rich yellow shade is well suited to armour, fabric, heraldic symbols, and hazard markings.

This is Tone 1 of 5, the darkest tone in the colour family. It is ideal for deep shadows, dark base layers, and recesses around details. Use it to create contrast and establish a strong foundation for further painting. Combine it with Megaboss Yellow 2, 3, 4, and 5 to build gradual transitions towards increasingly lighter areas.

Warhammer Tone Pro includes 30 colour families, each with five tones ranging from Tone 1, the darkest, to Tone 5, the lightest. The paints can be used for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing. Mix with Shading Medium to create shade paints or glazes, or use Blending Medium to extend drying time and achieve smoother colour transitions. Supplied in a 12 ml pot.
