TN: Megaboss Yellow 4

Games Workshop 20-204 Megaboss Yellow 4, Warhammer Tone Pro

Megaboss Yellow 4 is an acrylic paint from Games Workshop’s Warhammer Tone Pro range, designed for painting Warhammer miniatures. It belongs to the yellow Megaboss Yellow colour family, where five coordinated tones make it easy to build colour depth and create smooth transitions from dark shadows to bright highlights. This yellow shade is ideal for armour, markings, decorative details, and other surfaces that need a vivid, striking finish.

This is Tone 4 of 5, a light tone suited to transitions towards the brightest areas and for picking out raised surfaces, edges, and details. Use it to apply the first distinct highlights to yellow surfaces. Combine it with Megaboss Yellow 1–3 for shadows and base tones, then use Megaboss Yellow 5 for the brightest finishing highlights.

Warhammer Tone Pro includes 30 colour families, each with five tones ranging from Tone 1, the darkest, to Tone 5, the lightest. The paints can be used for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing. Mix with Shading Medium to create shade paints or glazes, or use Blending Medium to extend drying time and achieve smoother colour transitions. Supplied in a 12 ml pot.
