Plague Toad Venom 2 is an acrylic paint from Games Workshop’s Warhammer Tone Pro range, designed for painting Warhammer miniatures. It belongs to the green Plague Toad Venom colour family, whose five coordinated tones make it easy to create depth and smooth transitions from dark shadows to bright highlights. Its intense green shade is suitable for monster skin, armour, and toxic effects.

This is Tone 2 of 5, a darker tone ideal for shadows and transitions between the deepest areas and the base colour. Apply it to recesses, around details, and on less illuminated surfaces to create contrast and add dimension to your miniatures. Combine it with Plague Toad Venom 1 for deeper shadows and Plague Toad Venom 3 for smoother transitions towards the midtone.

Warhammer Tone Pro includes 30 colour families, each with five tones ranging from Tone 1, the darkest, to Tone 5, the lightest. The paints can be used for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing. Mix with Shading Medium to create shade paints or glazes, or use Blending Medium to extend drying time and achieve smoother colour transitions. Supplied in a 12 ml pot.
