Build one of the most iconic Soviet fighters of World War II with the Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 in 1/32 scale. This aircraft was one of the world’s first low-wing monoplanes with retractable landing gear and saw extensive service on the Eastern Front during the early years of the war.

The ICM kit provides a detailed representation of this compact aircraft, featuring a well-detailed cockpit, engine and landing gear. Multiple marking options are included, making it an excellent choice for both collectors and diorama builders.

For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The upper surfaces can be painted using 70.894 Camouflage Olive Green, while the underside is best finished with 70.907 Pale Grey Blue. The propeller and smaller details can be painted in 70.950 Black, with metallic parts highlighted using 70.863 Gunmetal Grey and 70.997 Silver. Cockpit details can be enhanced with 70.830 German Field Grey, and light dry-brushing with 70.989 Sky Grey will bring out fine surface detail.
