Build one of the RAF’s most iconic 1930s biplanes – the Bristol Bulldog Mk.IIA in 1:48 scale. The Airfix kit captures the elegant metal fuselage, fabric-covered surfaces, and open cockpit with impressive detail. The set includes finely moulded struts, an engine with visible cylinders, and several decal options from pre-war RAF squadrons.

For an accurate finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The silver-doped fuselage can be painted using 70.997 Silver as a base, subtly varied with 70.989 Sky Grey for fabric areas. Metal panels are highlighted with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey, while the engine and exhaust are finished in 70.865 Oily Steel. The cockpit interior is based on 70.920 German Uniform to represent British interior green, with tyres and controls painted in 70.950 Black. The colourful RAF markings stand out beautifully against the classic aluminium finish.
