Build the legendary German fighter Fokker DR.1, famously known as the “Angel of Death” and flown by the Red Baron during World War I. The Atlantis 1:48 scale kit captures the triplane’s distinctive design with an open cockpit, detailed engine, and realistic landing gear. The kit includes decals for multiple historical pilots and can be built in several authentic German frontline color schemes.

For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The top surfaces can be painted in 70.830 German Fieldgrey WWII for a neutral base, accented with panels in 70.979 German Camouflage Dark Green. Engine and cylinders are highlighted with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey, while the propeller and wheels are painted with 70.950 Black and wooden surfaces with 70.984 Flat Brown. Cockpit details use 70.920 German Uniform, and light weathering with 70.989 Sky Grey creates a realistic combat-worn appearance.
