Italeri 2838 – Hurricane Mk.I WWII Aces in 1/48 scale is a highly detailed plastic model kit celebrating some of the most famous fighter pilots of the Royal Air Force during World War II. The kit recreates the legendary Hawker Hurricane Mk.I, one of Britain's most important fighter aircraft and a key contributor to victory during the Battle of Britain.

Powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine and armed with eight 7.7 mm Browning machine guns, the Hurricane was renowned for its rugged construction, ease of maintenance, and forgiving flight characteristics. These qualities made it indispensable to RAF operations despite being slightly slower than the Spitfire.

The kit includes highly detailed plastic parts, photo-etched components, finely engraved surface details, and decals for 6 famous RAF aces, including Douglas Bader, Robert Stanford Tuck, and William "Cherry" Vale.

The completed model measures approximately 20.5 cm in length and offers outstanding detail in 1/48 scale.

The kit is supplied unpainted and unassembled and requires paint and cement for assembly.
