MiniArt 48002 – Junkers F13 Early Production

Build one of the most revolutionary aircraft in aviation history with the Junkers F13 Early Production in 1/48 scale, a 1920s passenger aircraft and the world’s first all-metal production airliner. First flown in 1919, it marked the beginning of modern civil aviation.

This MiniArt kit is a highly detailed civil aviation model, featuring the distinctive corrugated metal fuselage along with a fully detailed engine, cockpit and passenger cabin. The kit is designed with a medium to advanced skill level and includes photo-etched parts and clear components, with optional open or closed panels.

The model includes two decal options, allowing you to build different historical versions from its early operational use in the 1920s.

The finished model measures approximately 200 mm in length with a wingspan of about 370 mm, making it an eye-catching display piece or diorama centerpiece.

For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The metallic surface can be achieved using 70.997 Silver, shaded with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey. Interior and detail painting can be done with 70.830 German Field Grey and 70.950 Black, while wood elements can be highlighted using 70.912 Tan Yellow. Light dry-brushing with 70.989 Sky Grey enhances the distinctive corrugated texture.
