Build a unique and historically significant aircraft with the Junkers-Larsen JL.6 in 1/48 scale, a 1920s aircraft derived from the pioneering Junkers F13 design. The JL.6 was an American-built licensed version used in early airmail services and military testing, making it an unusual and interesting subject for model builders.

This MiniArt kit is a highly detailed civil and military aircraft model, featuring the distinctive corrugated metal fuselage along with a fully detailed engine, cockpit and interior. The kit is designed with a medium to advanced skill level and includes photo-etched parts, clear components and optional open or closed panels.

It includes multiple decal options (3–4 variants depending on release), allowing you to build different historical versions such as civil, airmail or military aircraft from the early aviation era.

The finished model measures approximately 200 mm in length with a wingspan of around 370 mm, making it an eye-catching display piece or diorama centerpiece.

For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The metallic surface can be achieved using 70.997 Silver, shaded with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey. Interior and detail painting can be done with 70.830 German Field Grey and 70.950 Black, while wood elements can be highlighted using 70.912 Tan Yellow. Light dry-brushing with 70.989 Sky Grey enhances the distinctive corrugated texture.
