ICM 48066 – Spitfire LF.IXE, WWII Soviet Air Force fighter in 1/48 scale is a highly detailed plastic model kit of the classic British Spitfire adapted for the Soviet Air Force during World War II. The LF.IXE variant was effective in air combat and ground attacks, making it ideal for dioramas depicting the Eastern Front or Allied operations.

The kit includes detailed cockpit, landing gear, armament, and authentic decals, making it perfect both as a standalone display and for historical dioramas.

The finished model measures approximately 9.8 cm in length with a wingspan of about 11.5 cm, providing an accurate 1/48 scale representation.

The model comes unpainted and unassembled, allowing full creative freedom to paint the aircraft in authentic Soviet Air Force schemes. Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.862 Black Grey and 70.950 Black for markings and shadows, 70.995 German Grey for upper surface variation, 70.907 Pale Grey Blue for the underside, and 70.863 Gunmetal Grey for armament and metallic parts.
