The Spitfire Mk.Vb marked a key evolution of Britain’s legendary fighter and became one of the most widely used variants of World War II. Airfix’s 1:48 scale kit features modern tooling, refined surface detail, and authentic decal options.

For an accurate finish, use Vallejo Model Color RAF Dark Green 70894 and RAF Dark Earth 70921 on the upper surfaces, with Sky Type S 70971 underneath. Cockpit areas are best represented with Interior Green 71010, while metallic parts stand out using Aluminium 70997, complemented by Black 70950 for smaller details.
