Italeri 1255 – C-130J Hercules 1/72 Scale is a detailed plastic model kit of the modern Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules transport aircraft, an advanced version of the legendary Hercules widely used for military and humanitarian missions worldwide. Known for its reliability, long range, and ability to operate from short and rough airstrips, the C-130J is a cornerstone of modern airlift operations.

For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.907 Pale Grey Blue or 70.990 Light Grey for the fuselage, 70.870 Medium Sea Grey for panel variation, and 70.862 Black Grey together with 70.950 Black for propellers and detailing. Metallic components such as engines and landing gear can be painted with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey, while 70.997 Silver is ideal for wear and weathering effects.
