Tamiya 60795 - Grumman F-14D Tomcat 'U.S. Navy Fighter'

Build the iconic American fighter jet Grumman F-14D Tomcat, known for its variable-sweep wings and role as the U.S. Navy’s premier air defense aircraft during the 1980s and 1990s. The F-14D variant features upgraded engines, avionics, and weapons, making it a classic among aviation model collectors.

Tamiya’s 1:72 scale kit includes a detailed cockpit, finely molded weapons mounts, landing gear, and realistic wings that can be positioned extended or swept back. Decals for authentic US Navy markings are included.

For an accurate finish, Tamiya acrylic paints are recommended. Upper surfaces are painted XF-19 Sky Grey, undersides XF-21 Sky, cockpit details with XF-56 Metallic Grey, and seats with XF-49 Khaki. Wheels and rubber parts are XF-85 Rubber Black, with light weathering using XF-57 Buff to highlight panel lines and realistic wear.
