ICM 72193 – Heinkel He 51A-1 German biplane fighter in 1/72 scale is a highly detailed plastic model kit of one of Germany’s early fighter aircraft from the 1930s. The He 51A-1 served as both a fighter and trainer, and saw combat in the Spanish Civil War as an air superiority aircraft.

The kit includes fine panel lines, a detailed cockpit, landing gear, and authentic decals, making it ideal both as a standalone display model and for historical 1930s dioramas.

The finished model measures approximately 10.8 cm in length with a wingspan of about 14.0 cm, offering a compact yet realistic 1/72 scale representation.

The model comes unpainted and unassembled, allowing full creative freedom to recreate authentic early Luftwaffe color schemes. Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.995 German Grey and 70.862 Black Grey for metallic parts and engine, 70.979 German Camouflage Dark Green and 70.896 Extra Dark Green for upper wing and fuselage camouflage, 70.907 Pale Grey Blue for undersides, and 70.950 Black for panel lines and details.
