Italeri 91035 – HH-53C “Jolly Green Giant” 1/72 Scale is a detailed plastic model kit of the legendary US Air Force transport and rescue helicopter, widely used during the Vietnam War and in rescue missions worldwide. Known for its size, powerful engines, and troop transport capabilities, it was essential for combat and medical evacuation operations.

The kit features fine surface detail, authentic rotor design, and interior components, making it ideal for both beginner and experienced modelers. It works perfectly as a standalone display or as part of 1/72 scale dioramas featuring airbases, military scenes, or rescue operations.

The finished model measures approximately 41 cm in length with a rotor wingspan of about 27 cm, giving it an impressive presence in any collection.

The model is supplied unpainted and unassembled, allowing full creative freedom. For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.907 Pale Grey Blue or 70.990 Light Grey for the fuselage, 70.893 US Dark Green and 70.870 Medium Sea Grey for military camouflage, and 70.862 Black Grey together with 70.950 Black for rotor blades, panel lines, and details. Metallic parts such as rotor hubs and landing gear can be painted with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey, while 70.997 Silver is ideal for wear and weathering effects.
