HobbyBoss 81803 – Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 in 1/18 scale is an impressive and very large model kit representing one of the most notable German fighter aircraft of World War II. The Fw 190A-8 was one of the most widely produced variants and served in multiple roles, including fighter, ground attack, and air defense.

The kit features highly detailed parts with excellent precision, including a fully equipped cockpit, detailed BMW 801 engine, and realistic armament. The large scale allows for advanced detailing with opening panels, making it possible to display the engine and internal components. It is ideal as a centerpiece or for large-scale diorama projects.

The completed model measures approximately 50 cm in length with a wingspan of about 58 cm, offering an impressive presence in 1/18 scale and making it a standout piece in any collection.

The kit is supplied unpainted and unassembled, allowing full creative freedom for realistic camouflage and weathering. Recommended paints include Vallejo Model Color 70.816 Luftwaffe Uniform WWII (RLM 74), 70.870 Medium Sea Grey (RLM 75), and 70.820 Offwhite (RLM 76) for standard camouflage, 70.950 Black and 70.862 Black Grey for details and panel lines, 70.863 Gunmetal Grey for weapons and metallic parts, and 70.984 Flat Brown for wear and variation.
