Academy 12312 – Hawker Hunter F.6/FGA.9 in 1/48 scale (including Swedish decals) is a highly detailed plastic model kit representing the classic British Hawker Hunter jet fighter. The aircraft was widely used during the Cold War and became known for its excellent flight performance and elegant design.

The kit includes detailed cockpit, air intakes, landing gear, armament, external stores, and authentic decals including Swedish markings, making it ideal both as a standalone display model and as part of aviation history dioramas.

The finished model measures approximately 29.0 cm in length with a wingspan of about 21.0 cm, providing an impressive and accurate 1/48 scale representation.

The model comes unpainted and unassembled, offering full creative freedom to recreate authentic schemes—such as Swedish Air Force natural metal finish or camouflage. Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.997 Silver or 70.863 Gunmetal Grey for metallic finish, alternatively 70.830 German Field Grey and 70.979 German Camouflage Dark Green for camouflage, and 70.950 Black for details.
