HobbyBoss 81745 – J29F Flying Barrel (SE Decal) in 1/48 scale is a highly detailed plastic model kit of one of Sweden's most iconic jet fighters. The Saab 29 Tunnan, nicknamed the "Flying Barrel," was Sweden's first mass-produced swept-wing jet fighter and one of the most advanced combat aircraft of the 1950s, combining high speed with exceptional agility.

This kit represents the J29F, the final and most advanced fighter variant, featuring an afterburning engine and the distinctive dog-tooth wing. From 1963 onward, the aircraft was also modified to carry Swedish-built Rb 24 (AIM-9B Sidewinder) air-to-air missiles. The kit includes Swedish decals (SE Decal), more than 120 plastic parts, clear canopy parts, and finely engraved surface details.

The completed model measures approximately 19.5 cm in length with a 21.4 cm wingspan, creating an impressive display model with excellent detail.

The kit is supplied unpainted and unassembled and requires paint and cement for assembly.
