AMT 1142 – Chevrolet Nova SS “Old Pro” in 1/25 scale is a highly detailed plastic model kit representing a classic American drag racing build based on the iconic compact muscle car Chevrolet Nova. The Nova SS was a popular platform for both street and competition builds thanks to its lightweight body and powerful V8 options.

The “Old Pro” version reflects a classic race-prepped drag car style with a stripped interior and performance-focused setup, making it ideal for nostalgic drag strip dioramas.

The kit includes detailed V8 racing engine, modified chassis, stripped interior, slick tires, body details, and racing decals, delivering an authentic vintage drag racing feel from the 1960s–70s era.

The finished model measures approximately 18.5–19.5 cm in length, providing a compact yet aggressive 1/25 scale presence.

The model comes unpainted and unassembled, offering full creative freedom to build a classic old-school drag racer or a personalized custom race car. Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.926 Red, 70.951 White, or 70.899 Dark Prussian Blue for bodywork, 70.950 Black for chassis and slicks, and 70.997 Silver and 70.863 Gunmetal Grey for engine and detailing.
