ICM 24053 – GAZ-A in German Service

Build a unique WWII vehicle with the GAZ-A in German service in 1/24 scale. Originally a Soviet-built licensed version of the Ford Model A, many of these vehicles were captured and reused by German forces, especially on the Eastern Front where captured equipment was commonly pressed into service.

This ICM model kit provides a detailed representation with realistic bodywork, interior and chassis components. It is an excellent choice for Eastern Front dioramas, offering historical variety alongside standard German vehicles.

For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. A typical German military scheme can be created using 70.824 German Camouflage Ochre (Dunkelgelb) or 70.830 German Field Grey, depending on the period. Details and shading can be enhanced with 70.822 German Camouflage Black Brown and 70.894 Camouflage Olive Green. Tyres and undercarriage can be painted using 70.862 Black Grey, while worn metallic areas benefit from 70.863 Gunmetal Grey and 70.997 Silver. Weathering with 70.983 Flat Earth adds realistic dust and dirt effects.
