AMT 1285 – Sandkat Dune Dragster in 1/25 scale is a unique and highly detailed plastic model kit combining a classic dune buggy with a dragster-inspired design. The Sandkat reflects the creative custom culture of the 1960s and 1970s, where performance and bold styling came together in imaginative builds.

The kit includes detailed engine, tubular chassis, open interior, custom body, chrome parts, large rear wheels, and dragster-style front wheels, making it perfect for custom builders and collectors of classic show rods.

The finished model measures approximately 18.0–19.0 cm in length, providing an accurate and eye-catching 1/25 scale representation.

The model comes unpainted and unassembled, offering full creative freedom to build a vibrant custom version. Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.926 Red, 70.925 Blue, or 70.953 Flat Yellow for the body, 70.950 Black for chassis and tires, and 70.996 Gold and 70.863 Gunmetal Grey for engine and chrome detailing.
