Dragon 6651 - Panzer Pioneer Battalion 37, 1st Panzer Division, Leningrad 1941 in 1/35 scale is a highly detailed plastic figure set depicting German armoured combat engineers during the fighting around Leningrad in 1941. Panzer pioneers were specially trained engineer troops responsible for clearing minefields, building bridges, removing obstacles, and supporting armoured units during offensive operations.
The figures represent soldiers of Panzer Pioneer Battalion 37, attached to the German 1st Panzer Division during Operation Barbarossa. Their work was essential in keeping armoured formations moving across difficult terrain and through enemy obstacles on the Eastern Front.
The kit includes four highly detailed plastic figures with separately moulded parts and personal equipment, providing realistic poses and excellent detail. The figures are ideal for pairing with German tanks, half-tracks, and World War II dioramas in 1/35 scale.
The model comes unpainted and unassembled. For painting, Vallejo Model Color is recommended, including 70.830 German Fieldgrey WWII for uniforms, 70.995 German Grey for equipment, 70.950 Black for boots and details, 70.815 Basic Skin Tone and 70.955 Flat Flesh for faces and hands, and 70.863 Gunmetal Grey for weapons and metallic components.
Glue and paints not included.
