ICM 48089 – US Helicopter Pilots (Vietnam War) 1/48 Scale is a highly detailed figure set depicting US Army helicopter crews during the Vietnam War. The set is ideal for dioramas featuring helicopters such as the UH-1 Huey and other iconic air operations from the 1960s–70s.

The kit includes multiple realistic pilot figures in authentic poses, equipped with period-correct flight suits, helmets, and personal gear. It is perfect for complementing 1/48 scale helicopter models or creating a standalone vignette with strong historical atmosphere.

The finished figures measure approximately 3.5–4 cm in height, representing accurate proportions in 1/48 scale.

The model comes unpainted and unassembled, allowing full creative freedom to recreate authentic US Army paint schemes. Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.889 Olive Drab and 70.924 Russian Uniform WWII for flight suits, 70.887 Brown Violet for gear, 70.950 Black and 70.862 Black Grey for helmets and details, and 70.863 Gunmetal Grey and 70.997 Silver for metallic parts. Skin tones can be painted with 70.815 Basic Skin Tone.
