Based upon Item 24338, Tamiya welcomes the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL as 1/24 “Full-View’’ kit with new packaging.

The “Full-View” series features clear body parts which display the model’s interior and allow car fans to enjoy its beauty. The 300 SL was released in 1954, the production sports car version of a highly successful racing prototype from 1952. It featured an elegant body with gull wing doors, plus a lightweight multi-tubular space frame. A 3-liter inline-6 engine pioneered direct fuel injection. Its combination of looks and pioneering power makes it a favorite even in the modern day.
