Tamiya 35328 - Israeli Tank Tiran5

Build the Israeli Tiran 5, an extensively modified version of the Soviet T-55 used by the IDF for many years. This 1:35 scale model captures the characteristic changes including new machine-gun layout, external stowage, tools, and the distinctive turret. The tracks, hull, and surface textures are finely reproduced, providing an excellent base for painting and weathering.

For an accurate finish, Tamiya paints are recommended, with the typical IDF sand tone created using XF-59 Desert Yellow as the main colour, subtly lightened with XF-57 Buff for sun-faded areas. Tools and metal parts are painted with XF-56 Metallic Grey and X-10 Gun Metal, while rubber details and tracks are finished in XF-1 Flat Black. Dust and wear effects can be added with thin applications of XF-52 Flat Earth, giving the model a convincing appearance from the harsh Middle Eastern environment.
