Build a classic military utility vehicle with the Unimog S 404 radio truck in 1:35 scale. The Mercedes-Benz Unimog S series served extensively with the German Bundeswehr from the 1950s until the 1990s, and radio communication variants were widely used for battlefield communications.

This detailed ICM model kit represents the radio-communication version with the characteristic box body (“Koffer”), roof antenna mounts and detailed chassis and interior. The kit includes approximately 314 parts, realistic tyres and decal options for several Bundeswehr units from the 1970s–1990s.

For an authentic finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The standard Bundeswehr olive base colour can be recreated with 70.889 Olive Brown or 70.924 Russian Uniform, combined with camouflage shades such as 70.894 Camouflage Olive Green and 70.822 German Camouflage Black Brown. Chassis and mechanical parts are enhanced with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey and 70.862 Black Grey, while metallic details can be highlighted using 70.997 Silver. Weathering with 70.983 Flat Earth adds realistic dust and dirt effects to the running gear.
