Build a true piece of American maritime heritage – the traditional Chesapeake Bay Skipjack “Carrie Price”. These distinctive oyster boats sailed the Maryland coastline from the late 1800s and remain icons of the region’s seafaring history. The Atlantis 1:60 scale model features a classic hull, detailed deck fittings, boom and gaff rig, and realistic sails that bring the vessel to life.

For a lifelike finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The hull sides can be painted in historic white using 70.951 White, while the bottom is finished with 70.814 Burnt Red to represent traditional antifouling. Decks and timber details are highlighted with 70.983 Flat Earth and 70.873 US Field Drab for weathered wood, and rigging components such as blocks and masts are painted with 70.984 Flat Brown. Metal fittings and anchor receive the correct look with 70.863 Gunmetal Grey, and a light wash with 70.989 Sky Grey adds an authentic salt-weathered appearance.
