ICM S019 – U-Boat Type “Molch” WWII German Midget Submarine 1/72 Scale is a detailed plastic model kit of a German midget submarine developed for coastal operations during the late stages of World War II. The Molch (“Salamander”) was a single-man submarine designed for special missions and torpedo attacks in confined waters.

The kit features fine surface details, accurate hull design, and torpedoes, making it ideal for naval modelers and diorama builders. It works perfectly as a standalone display or as part of a harbor or coastal defense diorama.

The finished model measures approximately 14–15 cm in length, offering a compact yet realistic representation of this unique submarine in 1/72 scale.

The model comes unpainted and unassembled, allowing full creative freedom to recreate authentic Kriegsmarine paint schemes. Vallejo Model Color is recommended — for example, 70.995 German Grey and 70.862 Black Grey for the hull, 70.950 Black for details and shading, and 70.863 Gunmetal Grey and 70.997 Silver for torpedoes and metallic parts. Use 70.983 Flat Earth for weathering effects such as rust and dirt.
