Recreate an icon of European highways – the Iveco Turbostar 198.48 Special with full refrigerated trailer. The powerful Turbostar range dominated long-haul transport during the 1980s and remains a favourite among truck enthusiasts. The Italeri 1:24 scale model offers excellent detail with a fully equipped cab interior, separate chassis, engine, chrome parts, and a complete reefer trailer with realistic panels.

For a period-correct finish, Vallejo Model Color paints are recommended. The cab can be painted in classic Italian red using 70.926 Red or in elegant 70.951 White / 70.841 Andrea Blue, while chassis and fuel tanks are finished with 70.862 Black Grey and 70.863 Gunmetal Grey. The interior is built up with 70.988 Khaki for upholstery and 70.950 Black for the dashboard. Trailer sides are painted with 70.820 Offwhite and aluminium details with 70.997 Silver, while wheels and tyres are completed with 70.862 Black Grey for a realistic rubber look.
