This device limits the track voltage to protect electronic components as well as motors and bulbs. Especially power on pulses kill frequently decoders. Hot components may melt the case.
The board is inserted between the booster or central station output and the track. No modification in the central unit or other type of transformer is required. The output voltage is free adjustable between 10 and 24V.
The circuit limits the output voltage to the adjusted level. It keeps the voltage stabile as long as the input voltage is sufficient i.e. 2-3V above the output voltage. This overcomes the most frequent source of model railroad headache bad power supply! The stabilized power offers constant speed independent of the number of trains operated. Break distances get more predictable, a well loved feature. The power quality reached the level of expensive boosters.

Non symmetric DCC is corrected. This allows using the diode trick for breaking according to Umelec on any central station including the popular I-Box.
The fast circuit also cuts spikes from the signal. So the circuit is also a Digital Signal Repair station as well. Of course it does not alter the information content, only the square shape is restored.
