Introduction
SBOOST is a 2.5Amp DCC power booster, with optional auto-reverse operation.
SBOOST is ideal for use with a SPROG II to drive a larger layout than can be handled by the SPROG II with its 1Amp output.
Even larger layouts can be driven by dividing them into "power districts", each driven by an SBOOST.
Power Supplies
SBOOST requires a regulated DC power supply of 12 - 18V at least 2.5Amps.
Multiple SBOOST may be powered by a single power supply, but in that case the supply must be able to supply at least 2.5Amps for each SBOOST, e.g. at least 5Amp for 2 x SBOOST.
