Märklin 60983 is an mLD3 multi-protocol locomotive decoder for H0 engines with high-efficiency/DC motors and NEM 652 (8-pin) interface. It comes with a hard-wired harness + 8-pin plug—ideal even in tight spaces. Supports mfx, DCC and fx (MM) as well as analog AC/DC, with PoM programming, auto system detection, brake-section recognition, and firmware updates via CS2/CS3 or 60971. Not for field-coil motors.
