The Massoth 8413502 is an advanced digital pulsed smoke generator capable of operating autonomously in steam or diesel mode. It includes built-in track voltage detection and software decoder functionality, eliminating the need for a separate decoder.
The unit can be integrated into many locomotives (including LGB) via direct track power and supports the Massoth / LGB bus system. The recommended smoke fluid tank capacity is 4 cm³, with a maximum of 6 cm³.
Description
Article no.: M10.8413502
The newly developed pulsed smoke unit now has decisive advantages:
The Pulsed Smoke Unit can be easily retrofitted:
A clock-controlled smoke unit that can be retrofitted in many locomotives.
It impresses with the steam output generated synchronously to the piston stroke. At just 0.2 (0.7 with analogue) ampere power consumption, it generates a comparable amount of steam.
What is special about this smoke unit:
It can be operated in steam or diesel locomotive mode by means of a dip switch. The clock for synchronising the smoke unit can be taken over by a clock generator or directly by an eMOTION decoder (driving decoder or sound decoder).
Possible settings via CV for many extras, such as fan speeds in different locomotive states, preheating of heating element and time delay.
The digital version is suitable for connection to locomotives running in DCC mode (incl. LGB®)
Power consumption only approx. 0.2 Ampere.
