A special feature of the KATO points are the very flat underfloor drives. Hidden in the turnouts is an extremely robust and powerful solenoid drive. Due to the special construction, the points still remain very low and are original. The electrical points are powered by a 2-pin connection cable. They are placed with the help of the switch switch item no. 78500, to which the switch cable can be conveniently connected thanks to a plug system. It can be set beliegig many switch switches together. Before the first switch, however, a rectifier Art.No. 78505 to turn the AC of the transformer into DC. By the way, the parallel track distance is 33mm. The turn-off of the turnout drives takes place via the switch 78500! The power consumption during switching is 0.5 A  KATO offers an excellent track N-track system with a gray speckled track bed body (fine grain), which is exactly true to scale, extremely stable and ideal for all N-gauge models. The ballast body is made of elastic plastic and is about 25mm wide. The tracks can easily be connected with each other via plug-in connections and snap in with an audible "click".
