Built in 1977 by FMC for Hartford & Slocomb Railroad, this 50’ boxcar with Barber Roller Bearing trucks was later operated by the New Orleans Public Belt. Eventually, Union Pacific received the cars and painted them in their boxcar red scheme, with ex-Missouri-Kansas-Texas “BKTY” reporting mark and GATX lettering.
