SP 659039 Hy-Cube box Car

This 40" hy-cube box car with single door is brown with white lettering and runs on Roller Bearing trucks. These B-50"53 class boxcars were pooled and used in appliance service, and were built for Southern Pacific in 1965. Featuring DF loader technology and a Hydra-Cushion underframe, they were also excess height cars to allow more vertical room for bulky commodities.
