33' Twin Bay Hopper GN Rd: #GN 73571

Rel 06/21 This 33" twin bay hopper with offset sides is black with white letteirng and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in October, 1931"for Great Northern Railway and belonging to a 50" car series, it had a 2,160"cubic foot capacity. Initially it was used for coal and aggregate loading, then toward the end of its revenue service in the 1960" and 70", it was used in sugar beet service before being retired in the late 1970".
