Box car 60' excess height, BN #281460

Rel 02/23 This 40’ high-cube boxcar with Roller Bearing trucks was built in 1967 for the CB&Q. It was used in appliance service and featured a cushioned underframe and movable bulkheads. Burlington Northern was formed through the mergers of Great Northern and Northern Pacific in 1970, and then merged with ATSF in 1995 to form BNSF.
