This 52’ 6” mill gondola was built in 1995 to a design very similar to Trailer Train’s GONX gondolas. The cars were built to be heavy-duty and long lasting, carrying steel ingots, scrap steel and coiled steel. Wisconsin Central Ltd. started operations in the mid-1980s, and became a subsidiary of Canadian National in 2001.
