Hopper car 100 ton 3-bay PC #481915

Rel 10/24 Built in the early 1970s for Penn Central in a series of over 2500 cars, this H43d-class 3433 cubic-foot capacity 3-bay hopper with Barber Roller Bearing trucks was used in coal service. Penn Central was formed through the merger of Pennsylvania Railroad and New York Central, and operated until 1976 when it was rolled into Conrail Corporation.
