Standard 50" box car w/o roofwalk CP 81038

This 50" standard box car with 8? plug door, no roofwalk and short ladders is black with aluminum roof and green sides with white lettering and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built by National Steel Car in 1967 as part of series 80"67-81216, it bears the paint scheme which was developed to help distinguish the intended service for each car class, and the pine tree logo denotes newsprint service cars.
