Sleeper Hwwght Southern ‘Knickerbocker’

Rel 10/19 This 12-1 heavyweight sleeper car is aluminum with black lettering and runs on 6-wheel passenger trucks. Built in the early 1940", Knickerbocker was originally painted silver, before receiving Pullman green paint in the mid-1940". In the late 1940", it was repainted into a ?shadow line? scheme to resemble the corrugated body sides of other cars on the roster.
