Tamiya 56356 - Grand Hauler Matte Black Edition Kit

The Tamiya 56356 Grand Hauler Matte Black Edition is an impressive 1/14 scale R/C truck based on Tamiya's classic Grand Hauler. This special edition features a body pre-painted in Metallic Black TS-40 with a matte top coat, giving the truck a distinctive finish without requiring the body to be painted yourself. Numerous details are also chrome plated, including the bumpers, grille, mirrors, air cleaners and exhaust components.

The chassis is built around a strong aluminium and plastic ladder frame with realistic leaf spring suspension and friction dampers. The front-mounted 540 motor is brushed, while the drivetrain powers the two rear axles. A functional 3-speed transmission can be shifted while driving using a separate servo and compatible multi-channel radio system.

The Grand Hauler also features a fifth-wheel coupling plate compatible with Tamiya 1/14 scale trailers. The separately available MFC-01 and MFC-03 multifunction units can add realistic LED lighting, engine sounds, air horn effects and other lighting and sound functions.

This is an assembly kit. A radio system, steering servo, ESC, battery and charger are required separately to complete the model.
