Caboose 31' bay window, WP #451

This 31" bay window caboose is red with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf Swing Motion trucks. Built in 1955 as part of a 35 car order it became one of the first steel cabooses for Western Pacific®. Later rehabilitated in 1981, it spent a few more years on the rails before being retired by Union Pacific® in 1989"
