Massoth 8415001 är en kompakt och avancerad pulsrökgenerator som kombinerar funktionerna för skorsten och cylinderånga i en enskild enhet – optimerad för cylindriska ångpannor. Enheten är konstruerad med en ytterdiameter på endast 30 mm, vilket gör att den kan installeras även i små ånglok som LGB Stainz eller Franzburg.
Förinstallerade cylindrar är normalt täppta, men kan öppnas av användaren för att aktivera cylinderånga. Enheten inkluderar skydd mot torrkörning och temperaturövervakning. Den drivs direkt via spåret och har en integrerad DCC-dekoderfunktion.
