Rel 10/24 This Conrail Maintenance of Way flat car with Bettendorf trucks was modified to include a rack to hold pre-fabricated track switch panels and other large flat assemblies. New York Central merged with its rival, the Pennsylvania Railroad, in 1968 to form Penn Central, which went bankrupt two years later and was merged into Conrail in 1976.
